Abstract

What are the perceptions of African- American nurses towards family presence during bedside rounding of the critically ill patient? African-American nurses comprise ten percent of registered nurses and the percentage working in critical care are scarce. This research highlights African-American nurses' perceptions towards an issue in critical care.
