Abstract

Frontline nursing leadership is one of the most demanding positions in the clinical setting. A leader’s negative physical, psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues can directly impact staff and patient satisfaction, quality and safety metrics, and staff retention. The utilization of a mindfulness-based activity has been shown to be successful in a leader’s ability to cope with day-to-day professional stressors.
