Abstract
Veteran Community Online Mindfulness Support (Vet-COMS) is a four-week virtual mindfulness training program with community support for veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress symptoms. This study aims to test the feasibility and acceptability of Vet-COMS among veterans. Mindfulness meditation will help relax and calm their minds and help them cope better with their daily stressors and post-traumatic stress symptoms. The goal is to equip veterans with a stress-reduction tool, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic where imposed social distancing may stress the veterans and disallow them the community support needed. The ultimate objective is for veterans to practice daily mindfulness meditation to help improve their quality of life.
