Abstract

This national study used a mixed-methods design to garner 1074 nursing faculty and administrators’ perceptions of civility and incivility in nursing education including types and frequency of incivility, severity and contributors to the problem, reasons for avoiding incivility, and evidence-based strategies to improve academic work environments.
