Abstract
We documented that work context influences nurses' work organization and that work organization affects nurse’s workload. Understanding what disrupts nurses' work is essential for nurses and managers. Knowing what variables create turbulence at work will allow nurses and managers to adjust work processes, resources and collaboration to reduce workloads.
