Non-Exclusive Distribution License
Below is a copy of the license all submitting authors grant upon submission of content to the Sigma Repository. It is replicated here for the convenience of our submitting authors and as evidence of this repository's commitment to transparency.
By signing and submitting this license, you (the author and copyright owner) grant to the Sigma Repository the nonexclusive right to reproduce, translate (as defined below), and/or distribute your submission (including the abstract, descriptive metadata, and attached file[s]) worldwide, in print and electronic format and in any medium including, but not limited to, audio or video. Distribution includes using your submission for educational purposes such as curriculum material in a Sigma continuing education course. Your submission will become a permanent record in the Sigma Repository. You agree that the Sigma Repository may, without changing the content, translate the submission to any medium or format for the purpose of preservation. You also agree that the Sigma Repository may keep more than one copy of this submission for purposes of security, back-up, and preservation. You further agree that the Sigma Repository staff may correct grammar, fix typos, change formatting, correct descriptive metadata errors, complete name authority work, add authorized subject headings based on author-submitted keywords, and add repository-related metadata to your entry. You represent that the submission is your original work, and that you have the right to grant the rights contained in this license. You also represent that your submission does not, to the best of your knowledge, infringe on anyone's copyright. If the submission contains material for which you do not hold copyright, you represent that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant the Sigma Repository the rights required by this license, and that such third party-owned material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the text or content of the submission. IF THE SUBMISSION IS BASED ON WORK THAT HAS BEEN SPONSORED OR SUPPORTED BY AN AGENCY OR ORGANIZATION OTHER THAN THE SIGMA REPOSITORY, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE FULFILLED ANY RIGHT OF REVIEW OR OTHER OBLIGATIONS REQUIRED BY SUCH CONTRACT OR AGREEMENT. The Sigma Repository will clearly identify your name as the author/co-author and/or owner/co-owner of the submission and will make no alteration other than allowed by this license, or as otherwise approved by you, to your submission.
