Genetics in Breast Cancer - STTI CNE Course Materials
Breast cancer continues to be the leading cause of cancer in women of all races (CDC, 2017). The September 2017 issue of the Henderson Repository CNE community gives evidence for practice regarding regarding Genetics in Breast Cancer. This collection highlights three components (view three repository records below) including hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) risk assessment, the use of an evidence-based decision aid for women who are unaffected BRCA mutation carriers, and chemo related cognitive disturbances in older breast cancer survivors.
