The influence of social determinants of health and diet quality on symptom experiences in patients with colorectal cancer

Abstract

This study aimed to:

1. Identify subgroups in patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) with distinct symptom profiles,
2. Examine the association between SDOH characteristics and distinct symptom profiles in patients with colorectal cancer, and
3. Determine if diet quality acts as a mediator between social determinants of health variables and distinct symptom profiles.
