Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility, tolerability, acceptability, and preliminary effectiveness of cold therapy for managing vincristine-induced peripheral neuropathy in children with cancer. Specifically, the project tested whether nurse-led cold therapy using cooling gloves and socks during vincristine administration could reduce neuropathy symptoms and pain while improving quality of life. The study also sought to generate preliminary pediatric evidence to support future larger randomized controlled trials and inform the integration of safe, non-pharmacological symptom management strategies into pediatric oncology nursing care.
