Abstract
Nurse Managers play a pivotal role in healthcare organizations, but are leaving the profession at an alarming rate. To address this challenge, The American Nurses Credentialing Center developed a comprehensive Nurse Manager Retention Toolkit in partnership with Vanderbilt University. The toolkit, based on a systematic literature review of 31 peer-reviewed articles and a series of focus groups, addresses critical factors influencing nurse manager satisfaction, well-being and retention.
