2025 International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame Honoree Presentation

Abstract

With 25 years of research, my work has focused on improving outcomes for critically ill older adults by addressing delirium, frailty, malnutrition, and functional decline. I’ve advocated for care bundles to prevent complications and support recovery. In this International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame session, I’ll share my journey to advancing care for older adults after critical illness. This award is humbling and reflects the collective efforts of my colleagues, mentors, and students.
