Sigma Repository Event Materials* Submission Steps for Presenters from Participating Non-Sigma Event Hosts

Initial Step

  • Pre-registration Step - Add Sigma@KnowledgeArc.com to the safe sender's list in your email account to ensure that you receive necessary system notifications.

Registration

  • Register using the email you supplied in the Permission to Contact form. Failure to do so will delay your submission.
  • Registration Step 1 - Begin the registration process here: https://sigma.nursingrepository.org/jspui/register. Alternatively, you may click on the Register option located in the top right-hand corner of this screen (desktop view).
  • Registration Step 2 - Upon initializing the registration process, you will receive an email from Sigma@KnowledgeArc.com. Subject line: Sigma Repository Account Registration. Follow the instructions in that email to complete your account setup.

Account Authorization - Important. Please read.

Sigma Repository staff will receive notification upon your completion of both steps of the registration process.

  • Waiting Period. Allow 24 to 36 hours (excludes weekends and holidays) for staff to authorize your account prior to submitting. If you are under time constraints, contact staff at Repository@SigmaNursing.org to request expedition of your authorization.
  • No Notification Required. You may submit after the waiting period has ended. You will not receive further notification.

Submission

*Materials must include the following file attachments:

1. Poster or presentation slide file (in PDF format),

2. A formal abstract with headings (250 word minimum), references, and learning outcomes (in PDF format), and

3. A video/audio recording of your presentation (optional). If you choose to upload the optional video/audio file and it is too large, contact Sigma Repository staff at Repository@SigmaNursing.org.

Stand Alone. The poster or presentation slide deck must contain enough information to be considered more than a restatement of the abstract and must add to the scientific/clinical discourse. If a video/audio file is not uploaded, make sure that your subject knowledge is sufficiently conveyed in the text, graphs, and tables of the poster/slides.

Processing Time

  • Allow staff 30 to 90 days for processing your submission. Turnaround is usually 24 to 48 hours (excludes weekends and holidays) during off-peak periods.
  • Upon posting, you will receive a system-generated email with the permanent link to your item record. Share that link/email with your event host contact as evidence of your participation in the Sigma Repository.
