- Quality of Life in Adult Cancer Survivors (QLACS) -- a measure specifically for use with persons who are 5 or more years past their cancer diagnosis. Five cancer-specific domains were identified (appearance concerns, financial problems, distress over recurrence, family-related distress, and benefits of cancer) along with 7 generic QOL domains (negative feelings, positive feelings, cognitive problems, sexual problems, physical pain, fatigue, and social avoidance). - Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) -- designed to assess health plan performance from the consumer perspective in multiple health care settings (commercial, Medicaid, Medicare); reports were intended to give consumers information in a user-friendly format, broadened in scope to include surveys and reporting recommendations for assessing individual physicians, physician groups, and hospitals. CAHPS® developed targeted item sets for persons with mobility impairments, home health, and prescription drug plans. The MCSS-26© is a 26-item instrument for measuring the quality of Clinical Supervision [CS] from a supervisee's perspective. Designed in 2000, it can be administered online to staff in a range of health and social care settings to evaluate the efficacy of clinical practice and corporate policy. The MCSS-26© has 6 sub-scales; Importance/Value of CS, Finding Time, Trust and Rapport, Supervisory Advice/Support, Improved Care/Skills, and Reflection. The instrument response format has been tested for goodness of fit to the Rasch Model and found to command sound psychometric proprieties.

- The Simulation Design Scale (Student Version) - a 20-item instrument using a five-point scale, was designed to evaluate the five design features of the instructor-developed simulations used in the NLN/Laerdal study.
