Abstract

A Compassion Response initiative provides an environment that encourages and gives permission to all caregivers to engage in compassionate self-care practices when dealing with challenging circumstances. Responders convey concerned support for those experiencing a traumatic or emotionally overwhelming event at the time it is needed.
