Abstract

Research on equine assisted therapy has shown it to be an effective treatment for anxiety and stress related symptoms; however, research on nurses is limited. The purpose of the study is to explore the effect of equine assisted therapy on post-traumatic stress disorder among healthcare professionals at Houston Methodist West.
