Abstract

The session describes AACN’s Standards for Appropriate Staffing in Adult Critical Care and their inextricable link to Healthy Work Environment standards. National work on acute and critical care staffing will be reviewed and strategies for applying the staffing standards will be discussed. The presentation emphasizes leveraging the other five Healthy Work Environment standards to implement the staffing standards. Audience questions and participation encouraged.
